Yasushi Inoue was a writer of poetry, essays, short stories, and novels. Fumi Inoue, his wife, was also a writer. They invited me to their home in the outskirts of Tokyo. I would like to thank Alain Jouffroy, a famous French writer, who introduced me to them.
